Brad F. Swallows, 81, of Piqua died at 9:50 pm Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born May 24, 1933 in Barberton to the late William and Julia (Lee) Swallows.
He married Doris M. Jackson April 30, 1960 in Dayton; and she survives.
Other survivors include a daughter Darla (Randy) Hawkins of Piqua; a son George (Roxanne) Swallows of Wasilla, Alaska; five grandchildren; and three siblings, Leo, Bonnie and Ollie May.
Mr. Swallows graduated high school and worked in manufacturing. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean War.
A service to honor his life will begin at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 24, 2015 with Pastor Jim Jackson officiating.
Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery where full military honors will be provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad 470, Brad F Swallows
