Obituary Online notes for Norman Victor McGINNIS
Norman "Mac" McGinnis, 80, of West Alexandria, died Nov. 8, 2003 at Grandview Hospital. He was born in Dayton, on Oct. 15, 1923 to William and Adda (Ogden) McGinnis. He was a World War II Army veteran, member of King Hiram Masonic Lodge #8 F&AM, 32nd degree Mason, member of Scottish Rite, Dayton. He had retired from Frigidaire in 1978 after 35 years, former avid bowler and was a volunteer at Grandview Hospital for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou; son, Mike (Judy) McGinnis of Eaton; two daughters, Peggy Schulke of Dayton, Carmen Riebesell of Lexington, Ky.; stepchildren, Michael Barr, Dayton, Debbie (Vince) Moore, Sparta, Ky.; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Wilde, Florida.

Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Lindoff-Zimmerrnan Funeral Home, West Alexandra. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Donations may be made to Grandview Hospital.
