OTT, Madonna A. Age 84, of Eaton, OH passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Brookhaven Nursing and Care Center, Brookville, OH.
She was born September 15, 1923 in Jackson Twp, Preble County, OH to the late Walter and Florence Ashinger.
She was a lifetime member of the Eaton United Church of Christ and was a member of the Preble County Republican Women's Association. She retired from General Motors Frigidaire Division after 32 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Hubert E. Ott who passed away July 5, 1998.
She is survived by her daughter and special friend Romona Myers and Doug Coppess of Brookville, OH; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Nancy Ott of Lewisburg, OH; son and daughter- in-law Wendell and Theresa Ott of Bellbrook, OH; son and daughter- in-law Michael and Judy McGinnis of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Melissa (Joseph) LaRussa of Farmington, MI, Randy Myers of Brookville, OH, Kerry (Katey) Ott of Dallas, GA, Valerie (Tim) Blaumeiser of Kettering, OH, Justin and Chelsey Wilson of Bellbrook, OH, Patrick (Beverly) McGinnis of West Alexandria, OH and Kelli (Chris) Mouk of Germany; great grandchildren Alex Myers, Benjamin and Samantha Blaumeiser, Morgan Ott, Sofia LaRussa and Jacob Mouk.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, OH.
Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH.

Hubert E. Ott, 76, of 107 Elaine Ave., Eaton, died Sunday, July 5, in Dayton. A native and lifelong resident of Preble County, he was born Aug. 12, 1921, the son of the late Stanley E. and Marie (Goldsmith) Ott. Mr. Ott was a heavy duty equipment operator for Kramer Bros. Excavating, and retired after 20 years as a truck driver for Beoddy Oil Company. He was retired from the Eaton Fire Department after 30 years of service, and was a member of the Eaton United Church of Christ. His first wife, Zelma June (Guiller) Ott, died in 1967.
Survivors include his wife, Madonna A. (Ashinger) Ott, whom he married July 3, 1969; a daughter, Romona Myers of Brookville; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Nancy Ott of Lewisburg and Wendell Ott of Bellbrook; four grandchildren, Melissa Myers, Randy and Amanda Myers, Kerry Ott and Valerie Ott ; a sister, Margaret Blankenship of West Alexandria; nieces and nephews.

Norman "Mac" McGinnis, 80, of West Alexandria, died Nov. 8, 2003 at Grandview Hospital. He was born in Dayton, on Oct. 15, 1923 to William and Adda (Ogden) McGinnis. He was a World War II Army veteran, member of King Hiram Masonic Lodge #8 F&AM, 32nd degree Mason, member of Scottish Rite, Dayton. He had retired from Frigidaire in 1978 after 35 years, former avid bowler and was a volunteer at Grandview Hospital for 25 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou; son, Mike (Judy) McGinnis of Eaton; two daughters, Peggy Schulke of Dayton, Carmen Riebesell of Lexington, Ky.; stepchildren, Michael Barr, Dayton, Debbie (Vince) Moore, Sparta, Ky.; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Wilde, Florida.
