Greensboro - Mrs. Nancy Lea Weaver Walker passed away Thursday April 4, 2013.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday April 8, 2013 at Moriah United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Moriah United Methodist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Walker was born March 6, 1945 to Edgar Marvin Weaver and Lois Jordan Weaver of Guilford County, both preceding her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ross Walker.
She was a member of Moriah United Methodist Church and employed as an office manager at Jackson-Hewitt for 12 years.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her son and wife Paul Lee and Vicki Berry Walker; daughter, Jatina "Tina" Bailey Lloyd; grandchildren, Candace Lea Bailey Reyes, Nancy Marie Nelson, Harley Danielle Nelson Sanchez/Omar, Sydney Leigh Walker; great-grandchildren, Lilian Flores, Dakota Nelson, Caroline Nelson, and one on the way; brother, David Ray Weaver;sister-in-law, Teresa Weaver; niece and husband, Amanda Weaver and Dean Nickels; nephew and wife, Jeremy and Erika Weaver; great-nephews, Dylan and Tyler; adopted granddaughters, Kasey Yates and family, and Melissa Fletcher-Magallon and Carlos and family.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:30 pm Sunday, April 7 at Forbis & Dick, Pleasant Garden Chapel.
