Obituary Online notes for “Bill” William Edsel PECK
William Edsel Peck, 89, resident of Martin, GA, former resident of Sam Hodges Road, Hodges, widower of Eleanor Jeanne Sanders Peck, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, in Watkinsville, GA.

Born March 31, 1932, he was a son of the late Houston, Sr. and Bertha Mae Lang Peck.

He attended Beckley, W. Va. Schools and graduated business college in W. Virginia. Previously employed with Singer Sewing Machine Company, he retired from Tampa Electric Company as a personnel and payroll specialist.
A former member and deacon of Temple Heights Baptist Church in Florida and later, Brandon Heights Baptist Church, he was also, formerly a member and elder of Rock Presbyterian Church of Greenwood and finally, attended Greenwood Presbyterian Church. He was also a long-time Mason.

Surviving are a daughter, Lynn and husband James Lyerly of Martin, GA, with whom Mr. Peck made his home; a son, William Timothy and wife Jessica Peck of Knoxville, TN; two grandchildren, Daniel Lee and wife Joyce Sloan of Spanish Fort, AL, and Caitlin Mae Sloan of Palatka, FL; and a great-grandson, Luke Sloan.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Houston "Uncle June" Peck, II, and Donald Ray Peck.

William will be interred in the Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
