MARSHALL: Ruth English Cody 87, of 9480 Grapevine Rd., died Sunday, May 27th in Missions Hospital Memorial Campus.
She was a native of Madison County and the daughter of the late Overton and Olive Shook English.
Mrs. Cody was a homemaker and attended Laurel Bend Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband of 70 years, Claude Cody, daughters; Maxine Arrington of Mars Hill, Claudell Cody and husband Billy of Jacksonville, Fl., sons; Dedrick Cody and wife Marie, Maynard Cody and wife Shirley, Vardon Cody of wife Diane, Mark Cody and wife Pamela all of Marshall, Parker Cody and wife Pat of Weaverville, sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, brother, Max English of Weaverville.
The Revs Eb Jenkins and Clayton Casteel will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cody Family Cemetery.
