Joyce Clayton Lowe, 79, of Burlington passed away at her residence on Monday, April 3, 2023.
A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of the late John “Johnny” Lowe and the daughter of Bernice Bradsher Clayton and Allie Cornelia Blalock Clayton, both deceased. She retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Burlington.
Survivors include two children, Joanna Lowe and Jolete Lowe; four grandchildren, Nicole Phillips, Taylor Byrd, Steven Byrd, and Summer Semnani; three great grandchildren, Keeton Byrd, Skye Byrd, and Andrea Semnani; two brothers, Edward Clayton and Jerry Clayton and wife Cathy; and sister, Joan Davis and husband Bill. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Henry Clayton.
The funeral service will be conducted at the First Wesleyan Church of Burlington on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
