Lyle Strandberg ,78, of Boardman Ore, died Friday, December 13, 2013 at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.
Lyle was born in Okanogan WA. He was formerly from Yakima.
He served in the Army from 1955-1958.
He was deeply involved in the Washington State fruit industry; consulting, growing and packing. Also he was involved in the early days of the wine industry in Washington State. His passion was growing fruit.
Survivors include his daughter in-law Cheryl Strandberg, Sons, Lars Strandberg of Chelan and Eric Strandberg of Tonasket and six grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Terrace Heights Memorial Park. 470, Lyle Lawrence Strandberg Sr.
