Raymond D. Pegram, 84, passed away on Sunday July 3, 2022 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
A private service for the family will be held on Saturday July 9, 2022 at 11 AM at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel at Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro, NC. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the service.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Edna Pegram; siblings, Paul and Pauline Pegram, Doris Baker, Margaret Shields and Stanley Pegram.
He is survived by his wife Leta N. Pegram; siblings, Nancy Cox, Troy L Pegram, Melvin Pegram (Linda), Charles Pegram (Carol) and Mark Pegram (Jill); three sons, Terry Pegram (Soonie), Donnie Pegram (Patti), and Randy Pegram; one granddaughter; four grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
Raymond worked for the Greensboro Police Department for 30 years, obtaining an Associate Degree in his off duty time. After retirement he started his own business, Pegram Marble and Tile. After ten years he completely retired to farming and hunting. 470, Raymond D Pegram
