NOTE
Samuel may be the brother of Isaac Pasley (Peasley)
Both Samuel and Isaac were known to have moved northward in North Carolina to the Ashe/Alleghany Co. area about 1820. Both Samuel and Isaac were the sons of John and Millie Holt Peasley (Pasley), John being a revolutionary war veteran

NOTE (from Eveyn Waters)
Amanda Pasley (Pacely) of Ashe & Alleghany Co.,N.C.
First appeared in 1850 Census of Ashe County in household of Samuel & Nancy (Peak) Pacely/Pasley at age 5.

10 years later in 1860 Census of Alleghany Co., N.C. she was in same household of Samuel & Nancy Pasley but was now shown to be 18.
Also in the household was Wm.Pacely (a know grand-child) age 8 and Wesley Kegle (James Wesley Kegley, CSA VET, who married 1 ? 2 Mary Parsons Halsey 3 Chloe Blevins) age 20..laborer.

"As a Tree Grows" by Veryl Weight places her in the family of Allen Richardson & Milly (Pasley) who is Samuel & Nancy Pasley's dau. but she is at the end of the list of their children with no dates (as though he doesn't know just where to put her).

Allen & Milly Richardson were married in 1850.
She seems not to have been Allen's dau. having been born 5 years before the marriage but she could have been Millie's.

My question is...Who is this Amanda Pasley and where did she go? Have not been able to find a marriage or a death record or any other mention of her in 20 years of Paisley/Pasley/Pacely research.
