TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Rosa JuAnn Campbell McKinney, 64, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013.
Family and friends are invited to attend burial rites at 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton, with Roselawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Freedom Life Church of God, c/o Mark Fernandez, Senior Pastor, 1208 E. Commerce Road, Milford, MI 48381; or United Full Gospel Fellowship, 1009 26th Ave., Northport, AL 35476.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Rosa JuAnn Campbell McKinney, age 64, of Tuscaloosa, lost her long battle to cancer (multiple myeloma) on Sunday, March 3, 2013.
She was born January 12, 1949, at Boissevain, Tazewell County, Va. She was the daughter of the late Bernard Ralph Campbell and Lorene "Betty" Davidson Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald E. McKinney, son of the late Enoch and Helen McKinney; her sister-in-law, Juanita Nocida; and a niece, Donna Jo Campbell.
Rosa is survived by her companion, Matt Harrison Mitchell Jr.; her siblings, Bernard R. Campbell Jr. (Nancy) of Virginia Beach, Va., Hopkins Campbell (Kathy) of Beckley, Dorothy Roach (David) of Roanoke, Va., Betty Jo Miller (Tony) of Rock Hill, S.C., Randall Campbell (Cathy) of Corinne, Robert Campbell (Tina) of Corinne, and Della Campbell of Beckley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Other special people in her life are Josh Mitchell and his children, Jessie Brooke and Josh Jr., and Shelley Dolan.
Rosa was a 1966 graduate of Mullens High School and attended classes at Beckley College. She had a long and diverse career in business administration. She worked with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in West Virginia. She was then employed as vice president of administration and assistant to the president of Fairchild International in Beckley. After that she received her real estate broker's license and insurance broker's license and sold real estate until she moved to Alabama. She owned and operated three retail clothing stores in Alabama. She was part owner of Tuscaloosa Physical Therapy Center, Inc., and part owner of Tom's Cabinets and Woodworks. She taught medical transcription for 18 years and owned and operated Professional Office Services in Tuscaloosa for 25 years.

Pallbearers will be Rosa's brothers, nephews, and Josh Mitchell.
