Alvin Wayne Little
Alvin Wayne Little, 73, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
A native of Guilford County, he was the son of the late Marvin Samuel Little and Effie Lee Smith Little.
Alvin worked for over 20 years as a heavy equipment operator for Triangle Grading and Paving. He was a simple man that enjoyed working but most importantly spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Latashia Gray and husband Larry, Kelly Tuggle and husband, Justin, grandchildren; Elizabeth Jones and husband Matthew, Logan Tuggle and Scarlett Tuggle, great grandchildren; Aulbrey Ashley and Damon Jones, siblings; Lorene Morene and husband, Billy, Ethel Smith and husband, Charles, sisters-in-law; Glenda Little, Carolyn Little and Sandra Little as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Marvin and Effie Little, siblings; Ray Little, Howard Little and Thomas “Bud” Little and his former wife and longtime friend; Wanda Darliene Morene.
A funeral service to celebrate Alvin’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, June 15 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church by Pastor Boyd Pickard. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. 256, Alvin Wayne Little
