Betty McKinney Patterson, 79, a resident of the Penn Nursing Center , died Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Annie Penn Hospital.
Funeral services was conducted at 3:00PM Monday, February 5, 2018, at Thompsonville Baptist Church, where she was a member, and burial followed in the church cemetery.
A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Jesse Whitt and Margaret Jones McKinney and had lived in the Williamsburg Community most of her life. She was a home maker and was preceded in death by sisters; Barbara M. Walker, Ann M. Harrell, and Lois M. Minor, and by a grandson; Jason Patterson.
Surviving is her son; Keith B. Patterson (Cindy) of Reidsville, daughter; Rhonda P. Ward (Dale) of Reidsville, brothers; Jesse W. McKinney (Shelby) of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Joseph E. McKinney (Christine) of Reidsville, and Thomas W. McKinney (Ann) of Reidsville, sisters; Nancy M. Shreve and Brenda M. Stephens, 2 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
