Clement Dewey Hooper, 81, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Saturday, September 30, 2023

A native of Caswell County, he was the husband of the late Dale Marshall Hooper and the son of Rufus Albert Hooper and Thelma Miles Hooper, both deceased. He was a farmer throughout his life.

Survivors include his step-daughter, Tonya Harrison of Mebane, NC; grandchildren, Alexandria Pilkington of Norman, OK, Zackary Johnson of Bolivia, NC, Meredith Parker of Burlington, NC, and Andrew Johnson of Cary, NC; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Didama Simmons, Derusha Hooper, Deborah Lunsford and husband Jack, and Devonah Murray; and cousin, Lloyd Hooper Sartin and wife Danita.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Gray Hooper.

The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted at Bethel Christian Church on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Anderson Fire Department and EMS, the Alamance Regional Medical Center ICU doctors and nurses, and caregivers Stacey Jacobs, Willie Hurdle, and Hooper Sartin for the care and kindnesses given to Clement. 261, Clement Dewey Hooper
