Ronald "Ron" Little
Ronald Ray “Ron” Little, 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Moses Cone Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born on September 5, 1960 in Alamance County to the late Thomas Alton Little and Elsie Irene Rigney Little.
Ron was a self-employed plumber. He had a lawncare business, a cleaning service and had formerly worked at Cone Mills White Oak Plant. Ron was known as a “Handyman” and the “Life of the Party”. He was an avid UNC Tar Heel fan who enjoyed going to Carolina Beach, gardening, camping, family cookouts, and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his twin sister, Donna Faye Little Peoples; siblings, Patricia Little Dameron and significant other Tony, and Richard Alton Little and wife Chasity; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca P. Linville and husband Walter, Ashley Dameron and significant other Josh, Dalton Little and wife Emma, and Macie Cruz and wife Tia; his stepmother, Glenda Little; his lifelong friends, Mark Chrisman and Dylan Chrisman; and Ron’s significant other, Donna Anderson.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Alton Little and Elsie Irene Rigney Little; a brother-in-law, Robert “Bobby” Peoples; and a stepmother, Doris “Lannie” Odell Little.
The graveside service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held at 11:00am Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Allen Myers. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
