Clara Smith May, 99, of Burlington passed away at her residence on Friday, October 29, 2021.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Roy E. May and the daughter of the late Claude Smith and the late Callie S. Smith. Clara was a homemaker, a member of St. Marks Church and a member of the Home Demonstration Club.
She is survived by her sons; Fred R. May and his wife Bernice, Russell R. May and his wife Peggy, Emanuel May and Robert May and his wife Karen; grandsons, Allen May and his wife Brittany and Robbie May; and one great-grandson, Grissom May.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to AuthoraCare Collective Hospice, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215. 470
