Obituary Online notes for Clifton Clero CLAPP
Liberty - Clifton C. Clapp, 83 of Foster Store Rd. died on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at the Hospice Home after a year of declining health.

He was born in Guilford County to the late Lawrence G. and Eula Swing Clapp and was the husband of Lucy E. Clapp who survives. He retired from Sears, was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church for over 65 years and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his wife of the home, son, Darrell Clapp of Liberty; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and David Lineberry of Liberty; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bill Shaw of Dallas, NC and a brother, Perry Clapp of Liberty. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bill, L.G. and Fred Clapp.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church by Rev. Todd Struble with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
