He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Bowling and Irene Walton Bowling; his son Robert James "Robbie" Bowling; and his brothers, Elbert, James and Paul Bowling.
He is survived by : his wife Becky; his children, Windy Kirkman (Keith) of Graham, NC and Allen Smith (Kristi) of Wright City, OK; his grandchildren, Connor Young, Alexis Young, Blakely Smith and Russia Smith; and his siblings, Billy Bowling (Sarah), Harold Bowling (Virginia), Eunice Griffin, Betty Davis (Bob) and Marie Moore (Rick).
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the Phillips Chapel (2362 Brucewood Rd, Haw River, NC 27258).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 2975 Crouse Lane, Burlington, NC 27215.
