Obituary Online notes for Betty Ann HANNAH
Betty Ann Hannah Welch, 71 of Joyner St. went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the Hospice Home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Coahoma, Mississippi to the late Fletcher Dewrell and Flora Ruble Hill Hannah and was married for 48 years to Carl Keith Welch, who survives.

Betty was an active member of Christian Bible Fellowship. Throughout her life she served as a teacher and mentor in various churches. She was a Hospice volunteer and retired from Engineered Controls International.

She is survived by her husband of the home, daughters, Carla Welch James Massey of Burlington, Janine Welch Chris Kreider of Darien, GA, Lisa Welch Mark Price of Jacksonville; surrogate son, Simon Mashauri; grandchildren, Jennifer Mattice, Sarah Tucker, Christina Price, Kayla Price, Taylor Kreider and Joshua Kreider; sister, Mary Lou Hannah Henson of Lambert, MS and brothers, James William "J.W." Marge Hannah of Joliet, IL, Sammy E. Pamela Hannah of Churchville, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Burl Edward Hannah, Charles Scott Hannah and Fletcher Daniel Hannah.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bruce Readling with interment to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
