Our Lord received a special angel into his heavenly home Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012.
Estlee Worrell Gray, 88, of Pulaski, was born in Pulaski Jan. 18, 1923 and was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Surviving are her husband, Grayson Daniel Gray of Pulaski; sons and daughters-in-law, David Lee and Pat Worrell of Draper, Daniel Wayne and Saundra Gray of Dublin, and Kenneth W. and Joyce Gray of Pulaski; daughter, Julie Gray Poore of Pulaski; grandchildren, Davy Worrell, Barbara Ann Meek, Tammy G. Hurst, Perry W. Gray, Stacey Gray, Angie Akers, Aaron Gray, Eric Hoback and Todd Hoback; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild due; several step-grandchildren; sisters, Opal Underwood of Salem, Archalane Mason of Roanoke and Juanita Knotts of Salem; brothers, Bob Worrell of Amelia, Lowell Worrell of Buckingham, Ray Worrell of Salem, Wayne Worrell of Salem, Joe Worrell of Roanoke and Fomosa Worrell of Elliston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m., from Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski. Visiting will be Thursday at the Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the charity of one's choice or to The American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018. The family will be meeting at the residence of Kenneth and Joyce Gray, 5646 Jill Drive, Pulaski.
