He was dearly loved and admired by family, friends and co-workers. K. T. possessed a kind heart, a gentle spirit, and was a faithful, generous friend. IN MEMORIAM, K.T. WILLIAMS
After an absence of many years, we last saw K. T., as he was known, at the Christmas Dinner, where he looked to be in good health, though frail. It was good to see him, though we couldn't know it would be for the last time ever. K. T. was the craftsman of us all, his work was distinctive, and his projects ranged from sailboats to power planes, and even electric power. He was soft spoken, but with a wry sense of humor. He was curious about everyone's airplanes. He was always interested in how the hobby worked, and what was necessary to do a job well. His airplanes always had extra personal features, either to solve a problem not addressed in a kit design, or for some other reason of his own. K. T. had a bit of trouble with hand-eye coordination in flying, but he kept at it. He never seemed to mind crashing an airplane; he could always rebuild it or build another. When someone else flew his airplanes, he grinned a whole lot, knowing he had built it right, so it would fly right in the hands of a good pilot. Kaiser T. Williams left many family members and friends who will remember him fondly. He passed away December 29, 2000. He was 86 years old. Note: Unknown author, obviously one of his fellow model airplane hobbyists.
