DANIEL WAYNE STEWART, 67 of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015.

He was born on May 1, 1948 at Pearisburg, VA to Donald Eugene & Mary Vest Stewart.

He was a graduate of Giles High School, class of 1966, a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a business owner in Marietta, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Eugene Stewart, his brother, Jeffrey Powell Stewart, his grandparents, John & Julia Vest and Tom & Ethel Atwell.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Stewart Mustard Albert; his wife, Jill Stewart, daughter Megan Stewart; son Austin Zachary Stewart; brothers & sisters-in-law, Gregory Gene & Lois Stewart, Steven Douglas & Tommie Lee Stewart and Cindy Stewart; nieces, Samantha Stewart & Amy Stevens; nephew, Mark Stewart; step-brothers, Donnie & Ronnie Albert; step-sisters, Marilyn Mustard and Brenda Mustard.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with Rev. Ted Anders and Jimmie Vest officiating. Military rites will be provided by Giles VFW Post 6000, Narrows American Legion Post 68, Pembroke American Legion Post 311 and Peterstown American Legion Post 145. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time, 11:00 A.M.

Per his request, he has been cremated and inurnment will take place at a later time.
