Twyla Ann Allen, 73, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at her home.
Ms. Allen was born April 14, 1944, in Holcomb, Missouri to the late Virgil and Verlean Moyer.
Twyla was of the Baptist faith and was a retired Real Estate Agent and bookkeeper. She loved her flowers and spending time with her friends and her “little Mississippi family.”
Survivors include her special friend and companion, Jack Price of Corning, Arkansas; one daughter, Dekoka (Rudy) Davidson of Ruleville, Mississippi; one brother, Gary Moyer of Texas; a step-sister, Janice Hatcher of Rector, Arkansas; nieces, Sula Thomas, Andy McDaniel, Betty (Ray) Carter, and Kathy Hatcher all of Rector, and a special great niece Melissa (Rusty) Gibson of Marmaduke, Arkansas; nephews James Hatcher of Rector and David (Jackie) Hatcher of McDougal, Arkansas; one grandchild, Kelly Wayne (Brooke) Davidson of Ruleville, Mississippi; and great grandchildren, Rudy Parks Davidson and Noble Brooks Davidson both of Ruleville, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Rector, with Brother Kevin Murry officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector. Jim Hunt, Gus Featherston, Mike Murray, Johnny Carson, Richey Tisdal, and Dale Curtis will be pallbearers.
