Devona "Dee" Campbell Dameron
May 14, 1969 — January 7, 2025
Burlington

We cannot express our sorrow and disbelief in the loss of our Dee. Dee’s life of 55 years is a testament to her love of God, her family and friends. Dee’s strong faith in her savior Jesus Christ provided her strength and guidance. She shared her love of God with all who knew her. Dee was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Terry, for 31 years. Friends and family have said there are few couples as devoted and loved each other as Dee and Terry. Their son, Joshua, was her most precious gift. Dee provided loving guidance to Joshua and supported him in all his endeavors. She was so proud of him and was with him every step in his accomplishment as an Eagle Scout. She truly was the “Mama Bear” of their family, protecting and nurturing.

Dee was a faithful and constant supporter of her parents, Dewey and Shelby, and siblings, Sherrie and Rodney.

Dee has been present in the lives of her nephew and nieces, Jayson, Morgan and Shelby. No one could make cupcake like Aunt Dee because she made them with love! She loved her great nephews, Wyatt and Owen, and never missed a family event. She never missed a birthday party or any family event. Aunt Dee was always cheering on the family in the annual Christmas games. Dee was a devoted daughter-in-law to Helen and was PaPa Bill’s special buddy. Dee’s work family and friends were a big part of her life. Dee was dedicated to her position of Deputy Clerk/Jury Clerk in the Alamance County Superior Court where she spent over 25 years in service. Her “Lunch Bunch”, Allison, Tammy, Dawn and Greg met regularly and were charity and community focused supporting causes like Clay on the Green Foundation.
Dee is survived by her devoted husband, Terry; son, Joshua; sister, Sherrie English (Chris); nephew, Jayson English (Jessica), nieces, Morgan Ball (Houston) and Shelby English (Dallas); father-in-law, Bill Greeson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. We thank all of you for your love and support.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Lee and Shelby Campell; Grandparents, Jim Henry and Verona Campbell and Delbert Lambert and Viola Lambert Garrison; brother, Rodney Campbell; Mother-in-law, Helen Greeson and Brother-in-law, Jay English, Brother-in-law Michael Dameron.

The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00Am, Monday, January 13, 2025 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Scott London and Pastor Mike Melvin with the burial to follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30-5PM on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the funeral home and other times the family will be at 1268 Westover Terrace in Burlington.

Memorials may be made to New Bridge Church, P O Box 893, Mebane, NC 27302.  You may send condolences and watch the service online at www.lowefuneralhome.com  256, Devona "Dee" Campbell Dameron
