Millie Agnes Thompson Albert, 87, of 50 Acorn Lane, Princeton, died Wednesday, Dec 16. 1998, at her residence.
Born Feb. 28. 1911, in Raven. Va. she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Catherine Deskins Smith.
She had been a resident of Princeton for the past year and a half and was a member of the Voice of Praise Worship Center in Bluewell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Weldon Thompson; and second husband, Roy Albert.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Moses and husband Bobby of Kegley and Betty Bridgeman of Bluewell; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; and one stepgrandson.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Dec. 17, at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park of Bluewell with the Rev. Preston Mathena officiating.
Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1 p.m.
