Shirley Moses, 83, of Kegley, went home to be with the Lord and her family on Monday, May 25, 2020.
Born February 5, 1937 in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late James Weldon Thompson (1909-1963) and Millie Agnes Smith-Thompson-Albert (1911-1998).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Bobby R. Moses (1936-2002); and children, Carolyn Moses-Puckett (Deceased) and James Moses (Deceased).
Survivors include a sister, Betty Thompson-Bridgeman; granddaughters, Taresa Horne & fiancé Craig Young and Kirsta Cooper & husband Todd Cooper; great grandchildren, Tara Sparks & fiancé Alex Poe, Charles Sparks, Donovan Masters, Hayley McKinney, and Bobby Joe Masters; great-great grandchildren, Blake Alexander Poe and McKenzie McKinney; step great grandchildren, Alex Young, Hayley Cecil, Dakota Cooper, Kimberly Cooper and Katilyn Wimmer; and step great-great grandchildren, Phillip and Lexie.
