Obituary Online notes for Mary Virginia WEST
Mary Virginia Squires, 88, of Locust Grove, formerly of Alexandria, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Squires retired from The Department of the Army as a Procurement Analyst after 32 years of civil service. She was the loving wife of 40 years to Wade Vernon Squires; and loving mother of Ellen Dickenson (Larry) of Alexandria. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Tracy Malpass of Stafford and Mary Dickenson of Alexandria; one great-granddaughter, Samantha Rhoades of Stafford; two sisters, Evelyn Chambers and Shirley Holder of Arnold, MO; as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and her two brothers, George and Jay West. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Lake of the Woods Church, Locust Grove, Va, with a reception to follow at the church. Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper, Virginia. Reverend Mike LeMay will officiate.
