Francis Daniel "Danny" Jones, 76 of Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Friday October 22, 2021 at Annie Penn Hospital.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday October 25, 2021 in Mizpah United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bethany Johnson and David Langston officiating.
A native of Reidsville, he was a son of the late Rupert O. "Jack" Jones, Sr. and the late Frances Wagoner Jones and had lived in the Monroeton Community of Rockingham County his entire life.
He was a retired security officer with American Express for 25 years of service and sold produce at the Reidsville Farmer's Market for many years.
In 1967, he was a founding member of the Monroeton Vol. Fire Department where he was currently on the Board of Directors, was a former Assistant Chief, and was a First Responder. Danny had over fifty years of service to the fire department.
A member of Mizpah United Methodist Church he was preceded in death by his parents: a brother: Rupert O. "Ruchie" Jones, Jr., and a sister: Joanne J. Stanley. Survivors include his wife of 47 years: Beverly P. Jones of the home, sister: Nancy J. Langston and husband Mason of Reidsville, sister-in-law: Jann B. Jones of Reidsville, and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family will see friends at the home of his sister-in-law: Jann B. Jones 180 Joneslan Trail Reidsville, NC and in the Fellowship Hall of Mizpah United Methodist following the service.
