Jeanetta Woodyard Powell Prillaman, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. She was born in Franklin County, Va., on September 6, 1931, to Walter Lee and Mae Woodyard Powell Sr. who preceded her in death. She was a member of Rockingham United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by sisters, Florence Altice, Catherine Law, and Elsie Wigginton; brother-in-law, Saunders Prillaman; and sister-in-law, Juanita Prillaman Powell.
Funeral Services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel at noon on Thursday, September 27, 2012. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may visit the Prillaman family at Oakey's South Chapel on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rockingham Methodist Church, 4615 Bryan Road, SE, Roanoke, VA 24014; The Gideon International Society, South Camp, P.O. Box 4221, Springfield, MO 65808; or Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Road, SW, Roanoke, VA 24018.
