Willis Andrew "Bill" Keith, 86, of Roanoke, went to join his loved ones in Heaven Friday morning, May 11, 2007.
Bill was formerly of Vinton and had for the last seven years lived with his son Billy and his wife, Connie.
Bill was retired from Norfolk Western East End Shops and was a Navy Veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Keith; a daughter, Carolyn Keith; and a granddaughter, Deanna Bowden.
He is survived by son, Billy Keith and his wife Connie; son, Jimmy Keith and wife Sarah; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews; a special sister-in-law, Norma Jean Loyd; and his beloved pet, Haley.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2007 at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. Burial with Military Honors by V.F.W. Post #1264 will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 13, 2007, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel (982-2221).
