Lillian O. "Mickey" Gonzalez, age 61, of Roanoke, died Thursday night, June 27, 1991, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Gonzalez was born November 19, 1929, in Pulaski, Va.
Surviving is her husband, Joseph G. "Joe" Gonzalez; two daughters: JoAnn Gonzalez-Allen of Richmond, Mrs. Sherrie Lynn Tunstall of Stewartsville; a son-in-law, Jay Tunstall; grandson, Traver Lee Tunstall; granddaughter, Karey Lynn Tunstall, all of Stewartsville; her mother, Hallie Saunders of Pulaski; three brothers: Mack Saunders, Sammy Saunders, both of Pulaski, David Saunders of Royal Palm Beach, Fla.; three sisters: Sylvia Smith of Pulaski, Ellen Crowder of King, N.C., Donna Mathews of Roanoke.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 1991, from Oakey's South Chapel. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Oakey's South Chapel.
It is suggested that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
