REIDSVILLE- Marvin William Gillie, 81, of 8108 US Highway 158 West, died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Annie Penn Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2006 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Mr. Gillie was a son of the late Harvey William Gillie and Mary Tate Gillie. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked in the automotive industry for over 30 years retiring from Gate City Lincoln Mercury in Greensboro.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Hooper Gillie of the home; son, Jackie Allen Gillie and wife Gloria of Reidsville; grandchildren, Bryan Gillie and fiance Catherine Chaney of Reidsville and Melanie Chapin and husband Brian of Raleigh. 470
