OBITUARIES Mrs. Lillie  Mae Windsor Tate 
    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Lillie  Mae Windsor Tate , 91, of 713 Staley St., Burlington, died on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005 at 11:10 p.m. at Alamance Health Care.
    She was the wife of the late Chester Harvey Tate , Sr. and the daughter of John R. Windsor and Robena Campbell Windsor, both deceased. She was a retired employee of Annedeen Hosiery and a member of the Hocutt Memorial Baptist Church.
    A native of Alamance County, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jane Carolyn Maxell and her husband Thomas of Burlington; a son, Mr. Chester "Buddy" Harvey Tate , Jr. and his wife Florence of Burlington; a brother, Mr. Rufus Roy Windsor of the home; three grandchildren, Richard G. Williams, Jr. and his fiancée Jo Ann Smith of Burlington, Sheryl McAdams and her husband Jim of Elon, and Steven Mark Williams and his wife Valerie of Greensboro; six great-grandchildren, Brittany Marie Williams, Eric Williams, Samuel Lazar, Jacen Lazer, Elizabeth Hayes, and Jameson McAdams.
    She was preceded in death by four brothers; Jimmy, Dan, Lee, and Willie.
    The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Jimmy Nickelston, Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington. The burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
    The family will receive friends at the Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. At other times, the family will be at the residence of the daughter, Carolyn Maxwell, 303 Elmira Street, Burlington.
    The family would also like to send a special "Thank you" to the staff members of Alamance Health Care as well as Hospice of Alamance-Caswell for everything that they have done for their family.
