Jane Carolyn Tate Williams Maxwell
WHITE LAKE- Mrs. Jane Carolyn Tate Williams Maxwell, 72, of White Lake, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her home.
A native of Burlington, NC, Mrs. Maxwell was the wife of Thomas Maxwell and the daughter of the late Chester Tate, Sr. and the late Lillie May Windsor Tate.
Mrs. Maxwell was a retired hair dresser and a member of Lake Church in White Lake.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Maxwell, of the home; daughter, Sheryl Williams McAdams and her husband, Jim, of Elon; two sons, Richard Williams, Jr. and his partner, Debbie McConnell, of Burlington and Steven Mark Williams and his wife, Valerie, of Jamestown; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Chester, “Buddy” Tate, Jr., and his wife, Florence, of Burlington.
The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington. Officiating will be the Rev. Cameron McGill. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will arrive at the funeral home at 12:30 PM Friday and greet guest until time for the service.
