Richard Garland “Ricky” Williams, Jr., 55, of Burlington passed away at LiveWell at Hope Valley, Durham, NC on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
Ricky was born in Milton, FL and raised in Burlington.
He was the son of the late Jane Carolyn Tate Williams Maxwell and Richard Garland Williams, Sr. and his wife Barbara, who survive.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was a manager and engineer for Facility Dynamics Engineering.
In addition to his father and his wife Barbara of Burlington, survivors include two children, Brittany Thomas and husband Drew of Burlington and Eric Williams of Burlington; two grandchildren, Clayton Thomas and Emily Thomas; sister, Sheryl Williams McAdams and husband Jim of Elon; and brother, Mark Williams and wife Valerie of JamestIn
A cryptside service will be conducted at the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Burlington. 261, Richard Garland “Ricky” Williams, Jr.
