Obituary Online notes for Victor Wayne BURNETTE
Victor Wayne “Bill” Burnette, 79, of Mars Hill, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

He was a lifelong resident of Madison County and the son of the late Wayne Emmitt and Lois Nola English Burnette.

He was preceded in death by his true love, Mary Ann Young Burnette, who he went to be with, a sister, Glenna Burnette, and a brother Less Burnette.

Bill is survived by a brother, James “Bo” Burnette (Margaret), niece, Stephanie Burnette, and nephew, James Burnette (Tawnya).

Bill loved his church and church family at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, where he was a member. He also enjoyed rabbit hunting. A service for Bill will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Elderberry Health and Rehabilitation for the care they gave to Bill during his time with them.
