HALL WILLIAM TAYLOR:
HALL WILLIAM TAYLOR,56, of the Rebels Creek community of Bakersville, died Monday, Dec. 8,2003 at his home.
He was the son of the late Bob and Edith Wise Taylor and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ina Carpenter and Elaine Woody and a brother, Robert Taylor.
He was an Army veteran of Viet Nam and a faithful member of Lilly Branch Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Liona Howell Taylor; daughter, Amber Taylor of the home;, sisters Linda Buchanan and Debbie Griffith, both of Spruce Pine and Becky Taylor and Rachel Taylor, both of Newland, and brother, Roger Taylor of Newland.
Sherrill Pitman, Travis Buchanan, Eric Howell, Richard Sparks, Tim Boone and Paul English will serve as Pallbearers.
The funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Grindstaff Memorial Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. The Rev. Matthew Grindstaff and Donald Davis will officate. The familyl will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the service time at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Rebels Creek Cemetery.
