Richard L. Paylor, age 89 of Knoxville, passed away March 23, 2021. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and retired from KUB. Richard was an avid and faithful UT fan.
Preceded in death by wife Jean Paylor and daughter Kim Wilson.
Survived by children Rick Paylor (Marion), Valerie Donegan, Randy Paylor, David Wilson (Sara), and Pam Cummins (Kevin); grandchildren Brian Reed (Gina), Scott Reed (Kristin), Heather Lynch (Chip), Holly White (Travis), Matt Wilson (Mallory), and Matt Paylor (Stephanie); 16 great-grandchildren.
Family would like to thank the staff of Elmcroft of Halls for their loving care. Friends may call at their convenience 10:00am-6:00pm Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet 8:45am Friday, March 26, 2021, at Greenwood Cemetery for a 9:00am graveside service, where everyone is encouraged to wear their UT Vols attire in honor of Richard. Pallbearers: Brian, Scott, Matt, Travis, Chip, and Matt. Honorary pallbearer: Preston Reed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salem Baptist Church in Richard's memory.
