Obituary Online notes for Jean E. SMITH
Jean E. Smith Paylor, age 81, passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2015. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church, Knoxville, Tennessee and retired from U.T. Hospital after 20 years of service.
Preceded in death by parents, Roger and Betty Smith; and daughter, Kimberly Ann Wilson.
Survived by loving husband and caregiver, Richard Paylor; son, David Wilson and wife, Sara; daughter, Pam Cummins and husband, Kevin; son, Richard Paylor and wife, Marion; brother, Jimmy Smith and wife, Sarah; six grandchildren, Brian, Heather, Scott, Holly, Matthew W., and Matthew P.; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17th at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery Monday, October 19th at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Pastor Allen James officiating. Pallbearers: Brian Reed, Scott Reed, Matthew Wilson, Matt Paylor, Chip Lynch, and Travis White. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Salem Baptist Church, 8201 Hill Rd.
