Stella Ward Flynn, 83, of Burton Street in Reidsville died Monday, August 14, 2000, at Annie Penn Hospital.
The funeral was held on Wednesday, August 16th at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Flynn was a long time resident of Reidsville. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Flynn.
She was survived by her sons, Melvin McGehee of Durham, Henry "Dinkie" McGehee of Ruffin, Frank McGehee and Donald Lee "Duck" McGehee, both of Reidsville; daughter, Carolyn Rakes of the home; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Lewis and Clarice Roach, both of Reidsville; brothers, Dewey Pryor and Elwood Pryor, both of Reidsville; half-brother, Sam Childrey of Reidsville. 470, Stella Ward Pryor Flynn
