Dr. Bradford Miller 77, of Charlotte, died at his residence Sunday, November 25, 2001.

Dr. Miller was born in Seattle, WA, son of the late Brig. Gen. Lyle H. Miller and Margarite F. Miller. He received his Bachelors and Masters degree from Stetson University in Florida and his Doctorate from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a degree in Bio Chemistry. Dr. Miller was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and was active in the Art Guild and was the Secretary/Treasurer of the Mecklenburg Beekeepers Association.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Kathryn P. Miller of the home; three sons, Donald B. Miller, Jr. and his wife, Lisa Miller, and Christopher P. Miller, all of Charlotte, and Lyle C. Miller of Atlanta, GA and special friend, Roberta Hilsdon; granddaughter, Danielle Miller, and step granddaughters, Hillery and Ashley Rosendall, all of Charlotte.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, November 29, at 2 PM at St. John's Episcopal Church with the Reverend Martin F. McCarthy officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 1623 Carmel Road, Charlotte, NC 28226 or the NC State Beekeeper Audio Visual Fund, c/o Paul Madren, 104 Woodland Drive, Cary, NC 27513. Arrangements are in the care of Hankins and Whittington Dilworth Chapel.
