BENNETT - Mr. Bobby Lee Kidd, 63, of Lane St., Bennett, died Saturday, May 19, 2007, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.
He was a native of Chatham County, retired from Chatham Trades, a U.S. Navy Veteran and attended Bennett Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Bennett Baptist Church and will be officiated by the Rev. Tim Strider. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
He is survived by his mother, Thelma Branson of Bennett; three sons, William Edward Lee Kidd of Seagrove, Wallace Eugene Kidd of Virginia Beach, Va., David Brian Kidd of Bennett; a sister, Wilma Kidd English of Hoffman and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home of his mother at 30 Lane St., Bennett.
Loflin Funeral Home in Ramseur is serving the family.
