Obituary Online notes for R. C. HOLDER
RC Holder, 93, of Liberty passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012 at The GrayBrier Nursing and Retirement Center in Trinity.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 22 at 2:00 pm at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Andy Garner and Rev. Raleigh Castello; burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home and other times at the home of Roy Holder.
He was the son of the late Gregory Monroe and Georgia Shepard Holder and was also preceded in death by his wife, Edith Stevenson Holder; sisters, Ila Holder Ferguson and Colleen Holder Lineberry Whitley; brothers, Thomas Holder, James Vernon Holder, George Holder, Walter Patterson Holder and Lonnie Holder.
Surviving is his daughter, Diana Cox (Russell) of Asheboro; sons, Roy C. Holder (Hilda) of Liberty and Steven Monroe Holder (Maureen "Katee") of Hartwell, GA; grandchildren, Melessa Thomas, Jennifer Garner, Clifton Holder, Christopher Holder, Teresa Holder and Jeffrey Holder; 10 great-grandchildren and sisters, Mary Lee Holder Scotton of Staley and Annie Dare Holder Lineberry of Ramseur.
The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to the staff of The GrayBrier for their kind and compassionate care given to Mr. Holder.
