Delois Diana Cox, 85, of Asheboro, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, at TerraBella Asheboro.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Cox was born September 5, 1937 in Randolph County to the late R.C. Holder and Florence Lemma Owens. She retired from GE/Black & Decker. After retirement, Mrs. Cox took care of her grandchildren. She was of Baptist Faith. She also enjoyed tending to her house plants and sewing.
In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her husband, H. Russell Cox, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Melessa Cox Thomas and husband Leonard of Asheboro, Jennifer Cox of Greensboro; grandchildren, Joshua Garner, Lauren Garner and fiancé Devin Perdue, and Anna Garner.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Ridge Funeral Home prior to the service. 470, Delois Diana Holder Cox
