Patrice Cates Lamm, 54, departed this world Monday, August 7, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born July 8, 1965, in Burlington, to the late Bernice Testerman and Carlton E. Cates.
Patrice worked for many years in home decor, but above all was a devoted mother, dedicated wife and loyal friend to many. She lived life fully and loved doing for others.
Memorial services will be held 4:00 PM, Sunday, August 13, 2017 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home.
Surviving are her husband, Luther Gene Lamm; son, Braxton Gene Lamm; father, Carlton Cates and wife, Velma Cates; sisters, Cindy Hinshaw and Carla Cates Starr, and many extended family and friends whom Patrice loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Duke Home Care and Hospice (1-800-599-9339).
