JoAnn Marie Culberson Rayle, 79, of Greensboro, NC, passed away at Moses Cone Hospital on Tuesday, August 15 at 1:49 p.m.
JoAnn was born in Robbins, NC on November 19 1937 to the late Helen Yow Culberson and Pearl Culberson.
She was raised at the Methodist Children's Home in Winston-Salem, NC, she was a graduate of R.J. Reynolds High School, and retired from Rack Room Shoes.
JoAnn is survived by her daughter: Lee Ann Whitesell of the home, brother: Charles Culberson of Madison, grandchildren: Joshua Evans, Caleb Whitesell, and Jacob Whitesell, great-grandchildren: Sara, Michael, and Levi Evans, and daughter-in-law: Debbie Whitesell.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: Jeff Whitesell, and brother: Jimmy Culberson.
No services will be held at this time.
