Ida Inez Coleman Smith 
    BURLINGTON — Ida Inez Coleman Smith , 88, of 921 Bellvue Street went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 3, 2005 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of the late George Edward and Ola Barber Coleman .
    Inez  retired from Cannon Mills and worked for the past twenty years as the gatekeeper for Hidden Lake Campground. She was a member of Harvest Hills Church of God having thirteen years of perfect attendance until her recent illness. She was a member of the Ladies Prayer Meeting and the Senior Ladies Class at the church. Inez  was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother living out her Christian faith in every area of her life.
    Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and W.L. Williams of Burlington; son and daughterin-law, J.C. and Ann Smith  of Burlington; goddaughter and spouse, Jean and J .R. Majors of Graham; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and four great-greatgrandchildren; sister, Thelma Merritt of Franklinton, NC and a foster sister and spouse, Dianne and Jimmy Wrenn of Snow Camp; numerous nieces and nephews who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Calvin Smith ; son, CalvinLee Smith , Sr. and a grandson, Calvin Lee Smith , Jr.; brothers, James Edward and Lawrence Barber Coleman .
    The funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Russell Morris, pastor and assisted by Rev. Troy Rushing and Rev. Russell Jones and burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at the funeral home and other times at the home.
