Jacob Clapp was born on December 26, 1815, in Greensboro, North Carolina. He married Winifred "Winney" COBB and they had six children together. He then married Catherine Wicker on June 23, 1868, in Colorado, Texas. He died in January 1870 in Colorado, Texas, at the age of 54, and was buried there. [1580]
