Phyllis M. Barnes, 83, of Superior, Colo., died of cancer Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, in Louisville, Colo.
Born March 8, 1922, in New Paris, Ohio, she was the daughter of Henry B. and Ruth Zea Miller.
She completed high school and attended college. She moved to Boulder, Colo., in 1974 and to Superior in 1992.
Survivors include her husband, Forest Barnes, whom she married on June 15, 1964, in Eaton; two sons, Tim Barnes of Thornton, Colo., and Scott Barnes of San Francisco, Calif.; a daughter, Gretchen Pruett of Round Rock, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings.
A spiritual service was held at Rundus Funeral Home, Broomfield, Colo. 470, Phyllis A. Miller Barnes
