Richard L. "Dick" Johnson, age 69, of Eaton, OH went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his residence.

He was born May 18, 1949 in Richmond, IN to Willard L. Johnson and the late Marjorie Jean Johnson.

Dick was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War; he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eaton; and he retired as a Leader Lineman for Dayton Power and Light Company.

In addition to his mother; he was also preceded in death by his granddaughter Amanda K. Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pam Johnson of Eaton; father Willard Johnson of Eaton; sons: Joseph (Clara) Johnson of Eldorado and Daniel Johnson of Eaton; grandsons: Hayden and Kenton Johnson of Eldorado; sister Diane (Ray) Ross of Eaton; brother Eddie (Kathy) Johnson of Eaton; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Ron (Tari) Smith of Eaton.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of funeral services at 12:00 noon at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Fred Hill and Pastor Andrew Stensaas officiating.

Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.
